Kriewald Place

  I am curious... how many people here in Kreiwald Place know what a stop sign looks like ?  It's the red one , octogon in shape ,usually sets near the end of our streets and has these letters written (glow at night even) .....      STOP .   Yep just 4 little letters but they mean so much...   no it doesn't mean slow down just a little bit as is the standard belief it seems. No it actually means STOP the vehicle from moving... no really it does!!!!!  The slow down sign is a rectangle sign.. there again the misconception of what that one means is wrong as well .... the true meaning is..SLOW DOWN.. IF NO VEHICLE IS APPROACHING YOU MAY CONTINUE THROUGH THE INTERSECTION!! NO WHERE IN THE DRIVERS HANDOUT IN ANY STATE SAYS IT MEANS TAKE A FAST LOOK AND IF YOU CAN GET OUT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER CAR GO FOR IT SO THEY HAVE TO STOMP ON THE BRAKES .
