Safety Comes First!

LCR has created a new weapon to combat safety and environment issues.

On Tuesdays, at 2nd Baptist Church LCR holds a meeting with various officials from city government to fight crime, safety, and environment issues. The city departments that attend these meetings are, POLICE Dept. Lieutenant and community liaison, CODE enforcement, HEALTH dept., city ATTORNEY, Environmental Judge's office Richard Pfeiffer and Frank Gill.

If you have problems with people not keeping their property up, junk cars, drug houses, people standing around, or any problems that you would like to report but don't know who to call, you have a way to report this information without giving your name. Each time this committee meets, they are to address your problem until it is resolved.

"We are trying to make it possible for people to have a way to report non-emergency problems, without having to give their names", says Chris Dawkins, President of LCR. "Soon we'll have a HOT SPOT card that will be available in many locations around the community for people to pick-up and mail back to us without having to use a stamp!" If people don't mind giving their names, they can also leave information that they'd like to report through this website."
