Greetings to all of you! It's time get together once again!
The elections of 2006 are just one year from now. There is no time to
waste!I am on the Steering Committee of a new organization called
Grassroots Patriots,a group dedicated to actively campaigning for and
electing Democratic candidates.Grassroots Patriots (http://
grassrootspatriots.org)
is an organization that seeks to sustain political action between
elections.
Republican policies have had the effect of whittling away our
constitutional rights,
and we cannot just stand here and watch our country be transformed
from the world's best democracy into something that none of us
recognize.We ask you to join us in this fight to restore representative
government and freedom in our state and country.
Grassroots Patriots was formed in March of 2005,
as a political committee (PAC) that supports issues and candidates.
Philip Busey is the Chair and Faustina Sandoval is the Vice-Chair.
I serve on the Steering Committee along with Kathy Mayes, Janet
Thompson,
Elaine Schwartz, Alanna Mersinger, Randy Fleischer, and Sallie
Tillman-Watson
