Sallie Tillman-Watson Applies for School Board

Community activist Sallie Tillman-Watson submitted her name to Florida Governor Charlie Crist, for Broward County School Board, District 2, to serve until the special election.  Ms. Watson is a 35-year resident of Broward County, and the mother of three who attended Broward County Public Schools.  A former candidate for State House District 93, she emphasized education as one of her priorities.  A volunteer in Broward County Public Schools, Ms. Watson has also helped in numerous community causes including helping the NAACP Youth Council, helping collect relief supplies for Hurricane Wilma victims. Ms. Watson is President of her homeowner’s association, Lafayette-Hart Park and is the owner of small business, Watson SBT Tax Consultant Group, Inc.
