There must be new sponsors for the contest - Round Up and Weed Eater. What a shame diversity wins over style and grace. These past several months have been a joke. Why pick a winner - let's give every house a ribbon and be done with it. It was a good decision to delay the garden tour a year.

I don't think a freezing winter is a reason to skip the award. As for diversity, that is what the neighborhood is; cookie-cutter homes we are not. The fact that we have different sized front yards and different styles of landscaping makes the neighborhood unique. As for sponsors for the contest, you might be on to something!
