CRIME REPORT; 11-15-2010
Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered over the weekend…
At About 4:35 P.M. on Sunday afternoon, Officer Herd responded to a call of a disturbance in the 1700 block of Butternut. While investigating this disturbance, a 30 year old male began using abusive and offensive language toward another individual. This individual was offended by the language used and it did occur in a public place, so the male was arrested for disorderly conduct.
At about 9:15 P.M. last night, Officer Bryan stopped a vehicle in the 1200 block of N. Mockingbird for a seatbelt violation. Upon contacting the driver, a 34 year old male, it was found that his driver’s license was suspended. He was arrested for Driving While License Invalid and transported to the Taylor County Jail.
Finally, at about 10:18 P.M. last night, Officer Joeris responded to a disturbance in the 1300 block of Sayles. While investigating this disturbance it was found that a 21 year old male had threatened another individual with a knife. This male was located a short distance from the scene, hiding from police. The knife that was described by the victim was also located with this individual. He was arrested for Aggravated Assault and transported to the Taylor County Jail.
