CRIME REPORT; 10-11-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

This morning at 12:10 AM Sgt Jason Haak responded to a missing person call.  Sgt Haak stopped a vehicle matching the description  of the missing person’s car in the 600 block of Chestnut.  The male driver appeared intoxicated and failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.  He was placed under arrest and taken to the Taylor County Jail where he provided a breath sample.  The results were 0.178 and 0.177.  The legal limit is 0.08. 

 

At 3:25 AM officers were dispatched to an armed subject call in the 4000 block of Redbud Circle .  A female victim reported that her ex-girlfriend had called her and told her she was going to come to her house and harm her.  This suspect broke out a window next to the door and reached in and was trying to unlock the door.  The victim cut the hand of the suspect in order to prevent her from unlocking the door.  Officer Cox arrived and took the suspect into custody.  This suspect was transported to Hendrick Medical Center to receive treatment for her injuries.  After treatment, this suspect was taken to the Taylor County Jail and charged with Burglary of a Habitation.  This suspect also had an outstanding traffic warrant.

CRIME REPORT; 10-14-11

 

 

Good Morning! Here are some examples of calls answered in the past 24hrs…

 

Yesterday at 4:40 PM Agent Chad Jenkins with the Special Operations Division contacted a male subject in the 2100 block of Lowden.  This male subject threw down a bag of Marijuana.  He was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Marijuana.  He also had a warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance. 

 

At 8:15 PM Officer Alfred Dixon contacted a male subject in the 2100 block of W Stamford.  This male subject was intoxicated to the point that he was a danger to himself or others and was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication.  During a search incidental to the arrest he was found to be in possession of two switchblade knives.  He was also charged with Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon. 

 

And Finally at 1:06 AM Officer Joe Plato stopped a vehicle in the 4100 block of Southwest Dr for a traffic offense.  The driver appeared intoxicated and failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.  He was placed under arrest and transported to the Taylor County Jail where he provided a breath sample.  The results were 0.186 and 0.190.  The legal limit 0.08.  He was charged with DWI.
