Our Lake Worth High School Trojans are in the Regional Semi-Finals! They won the district title for the first time in 24 years! Coach Errick Lowe said in an article in the Palm Beach Post, “I told the kids [Tuesday], after winning the district, which is a monumental achievement, that we’re in uncharted waters,” Lowe said. “We’re setting milestones. We’re achieving new heights. It’s great for the school, and it’s great for Lake Worth. It’s creating a buzz around the city.”
The City of Lake Worth is also setting milestones and achieving new heights! We are completing our beach and casino project – a project that has been stuck for 30 years. So many projects are moving forward – you can’t drive more than a mile, without seeing evidence of Lake Worth’s progress. Lake Worth was acknowledged or highlighted in four articles in the last three days in the Palm Beach Post. New residents and tourists are discovering Lake Worth’s assets and charm. Lake Worth is one of the only affordable beach-side communities left in South Florida where an average income family can afford to live. I hope you are excited as I am about the progress we are making!
Please join me Friday night to celebrate the success of our home town team, the Lake Worth Trojans. Let’s support them in their quest for a berth in the regional finals.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving and see you at the game!
Friday, November 26, 7:30pm at Lake Worth High School
Sincerely,
Suzanne
