DUES ARE (ALMOST) IN!
As of March 26, 2002, all the dues from Lakewood Addition Homeowners Association residents have been collected...minus one.
It is important to emphasize that any delay in payment of dues makes our treasurer?’s job a little more difficult. Having to collect delinquent dues involves daily trips to the post office box, and multiple deposits to the association account for as long as it takes everyone to pay.
The residents in the Lakewood Homeowners Association are obligated to pay annual dues of $200.00, and they are due in January of each year, payable to the Lakewood HOA and mailed to our post office box or handed to any board member for posting. It is not a responsibility of the treasurer and board to bill each resident. Instead, the responsibility lies with each resident to make sure his dues have been paid at least by the last day of January.
Those homeowners who are renting out their houses continue to be liable for ontime payment of annual dues.
