General Meeting Minutes for October 17th, 2005

General Meeting

Suzy Glover called meeting to order at 6:31p.m.
Rev.Charles King led the opening prayer.
The minutes of the last meeting were read by Darlene Stuples and accepted.
COP report was given by M.O. Nooner and Ellis. Recent activity in the area was discussed.
Carolyn Moorehouse was introduced with the yard of the month and a framed certificate was presented to her.
Kim McNees was winner of 2 dinners to Fire Mountain in our monthly drawing. Kim offered to get next months drawing prize.

Guest Speaker

Fire Marshall Mark Mitchell gave a talk on home fire safety, fire inspection, prevention, escape plans, and the importance of smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, and fire extinguishers. Mark also mentioned that he would bring the Safe House for next years picnic
