Summery of General Meeting-October 18, 2004

General Meeting Agenda

Suzy Glover called the meeting to order at 6:32p.m.
Jake DeBusk led the opening prayer.
Kay Ferrell read the minutes of last meeting, which were accepted without change.
In the treasurer's report Cindy Nocton gave the balance as $1300.

Committee Reports

Committee Reports included:
Fundraising-The current event is Thanksgiving Basket Ticket Sales. Members received ticket bundles to be returned next month.
Projects-Citywide Trash-Off is to be held Saturday, 23 October, from 8 to 12. Halloween Candy for Pat Henry students will be bagged on Thursday, 28 October at Papa Louie's at 6:30 and delivered to the school on Friday morning.
Call-A- Friend-Most of the Seniors are doing well. One was released from the hospital.
Patrolling-Jake handed out a list of suggestions for patrollers to follow.
Newsletters-1,000 copies were distributed in October.
COP Report-David Williams said that there is a growing problem with burglaries.
Guest attending were Police Chief Thorne, Fire Chief Hadley, Councilman Givens and Carol Botts of COPS
