Commercial Businesses and Vacation Rentals in Leimert

All CC&Rs for the various Leimert Subdivisions in Cambria forbid Commercial Businesses and the commercial business of Vacation Rentals. The County often does not do the research to see if they are allowed in an area before issuing the business license. 

Commercial Businesses and Vacation Rentals:

1. Interfere with your peace and quiet, which you have

            dearly paid for. 

2. Increase crime in the neighborhood.  Many of the 

    burglaries in Cambria are at Vacation Rental Homes.

3. Decrease Property Values of the surrounding homes.

4. Increase street parking and street trash in the 

    neighborhood.

       and

5. Result in increased calls to and over-utilization of the

    Sheriff's Department for noise and party abatement. 

If someone is trying to set up a Vacation Rental in your neighborhood, please let them know how it affects you and your investment, and how you and your neighbors feel about it.
