I just wanted to say what a great season the Bears had, and that the community is proud of them. I've heard from many people how disgusted they were with the ''Hey hey hey, goodbye'' chants from fans, and especially Southgate cheerleaders. (The cheerleaders also did this right in the faces of the bears after they beat wyandotte in football) Wyandotte showed class all year in all sports. While southgate was wrong, especially allowing cheerleaders to partake in this, SOME kids do this. Most kids are good sports. I am a teacher, and I think students get a bum wrap for the actions of a few. I live in Wyandotte, but do not teach here or in Southgate. I'm just saying don't blame all kids for the actions of a few. Bottom line, I'm proud to say I live in wyandotte, those students displayed a lot of class, even in the face of an ugly situation. Great season Bears!!

I dont think i could have worded that as good as you did. Yes i do think that the community is proud of all local sports teams from little league boys and girls all the way thru high school. I believe that also reflects on the parenting, coaching, teaching and up bringing the have. great job and thank you to everyone involved.

and the Bears (fans, players and coaches) were a class act.
The Southgate cheerleaders should be ashamed...their student section was flipping off our student section. It was ridiculous. Even Southgate's coach got a Technical...in fact he almost got TWO.
I STILL say playoffs should be held in a NEUTRAL gym!
Either way...those Bears ROCK!

Definitly a great season!

I haven't been able to make it to the last few games, but I made it to most of the home games, and the Bears did a great job! I'm really proud of all our athletes and their hard work and successes!

I don't necessarily agree with having all of the playoff games at a neutral gym. I like to be able to go to the games, and I know it's hard for some people to get out to them when they are away, so I like to enjoy the few home playoff games we have. Also, since I'm one of the conductors of the band, I like to have the band there to support our teams, and it's really hard to get the band to an away game. It's too bad that the crowds at some games have to be so rude, but I do really enjoy the home games. Either way, the Bears had a great season!
