It is time All the residents took a more active role in LP (not just a handful). 1st by reviewing the declaration and by-laws for LP. Getting to really know what the say and mean. When you see something like boats and trailers parked in driveways or on the streets refer to Article 16 page 11 of the Declaration of Protective Covenants for LP. Also on page 6, under Article 7. (Prhibited Activities) there is some very interesting reading. How many people are using their homes for business purposes? How many times do you see children playing in or on the streets. How many times have your neighbors had a party or get-to-gether, and their guests have littered your yard and the yards of your neighbors? We each have the power to use our phones to dial 311, or 911. Make a report, obtain a copy, and send it along with your written complaint to the property manager. He will then notify the Board members and may also consult with the attorney in your complaint. I have been an active member of the ACC since 6-08 this year. I continue to read the by-laws and the Covenants for Lp. I am only one voice in an association of about 200 or more, yet at the annual meeting we cannot get 25 voting members to make a change. I actively talk to my neighbors and ask for their input in the matters affecting our community. I have several willing to commit to serving on various committies. It is finding people to chair those committies that is difficult. I must ask you if have served on a committee or been a member of the BOD in the past, would you consider serving again? If not, would you help find some who would be willing? Thank you for your concern in LP.
