WELL, WE NOW HAVE A DATE,TIME AND LOCATION FOR OUR HOA ANNUAL MEETING. WHAT ARE WE AS A HOA GOING TO DO? ARE WE GOING TO STAY HOME AND NOT SHOW UP AND MAKE CHANGES? OR ARE WE GOING TO MARK OUR CALENDERS AND MAKE IT A POINT TO SHOW UP IN NUMBERS AND CHANGE THE LAME DUCK LEADERSHIP OF OUR COMMUNITY! i FOR ONE AM GOING TO BE THERE, TO NOMINATE QUALIFIED CANDIDATES FOR OUR NEXT BOARD OF DIRECTORS. A QUALIFIED CANDIDATE IS ONE WHO WILL SHOW UP AT ALL OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD EVENTS AND WILL PARTICIPATE WELL WITH OTHERS. HE OR SHE WILL WORK IN THE BEST INTEREST OF OUR ASSOCIATION AND WORK TO LOWER OR UTILITIES PAYMENTS AND SAVE OUR COMMUNITY MONEY IN THE LONG RUN.
OUR NEW BOARD SHOULD KEEP THE DUES PAYING HOMEOWNERS INFORMED ON A QUARTERLY BASIS. THEY SHOULD KEEP THE LEGAL PRESSURE ON THOSE PROPERTY OWNERS WHO TRY TO KEEP FROM PAYING THE YEARLY HOA DUES. wE SHOULD AS AN HOA HAVE ENOUGH VOLUNTEERS TO FILL ALL THE VACANT COMMITTEES. ONE COMMITTEE CANNOT HELP RUN OUR ASSOCIATION ALONE WITH THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, WE NEED TO FILL OUR VACANCIES. LOOK OVER THE COVENANTS AND BY-LAWS FOR OUR ASSOCIATION AND LET US GO BACK TO THE WAY IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE. THEN WE WILL NOT ARGUE OVER WHY THINGS ARE NOT BEING DONE. WE HAVE A RESPONSABILITY TO OURSELVES AND TO OUR NEIGHBORS TO CORRECT TO HARM THAT HAS BEEN COMMITTED IN LINCOLN PARK. LET US START GETTING INVOLVED IN FIGHTING CRIME WITHIN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD AND STOP THE ONGOING VANDALISM OF OUR HOMES AND PROPERTY.
