Hello neighbors, I'm wrighting this to inform you of the lack of rain in our area. This along with the stage 2 drought regulations we cannot run the sprinkler system more than one day a week. Our ACC Chair has sent out an email to the committee members asking for volunteers to hand water the plants at the entrance to our subdivision, this can be done on a daily basis. The best time is either early in the morning or late in the evening. If you are willing to help please send an email to lincolnparkhoa@yahoo.com with your answer.
On another note. There will be a volunteer committee started to regularly keep the creek (drainage ditch) clean and trash free along with picking up trash along the street on Rochelle. This action is being formed by a couple of neighbors.
Please remember to hand water during stage 2, and 3 of the drought regulations. Running your sprinkler system will be called in to SAWS and you could be fined, or even worse, have your meter removed.
Another thing is to make sure your pets that are kept outside have pleanty of fresh water on these hot days. Thank you and enjoy the summer.
