Get a life people. You screwed up, so live with it. You chose to break the rules, now you've got to pay the piper. You said you followed the rules. No you didn't, the rules say you need written approval. The developer/ salesman were trying to sell a house and you chose not to get the approval in writing as the rules say. I'm sure you didn't buy your house without getting everything in writing. I don't care either way about trampolines, all I know is that I follow the rules. These are the rules I agreed to when I bought my house as you did. You tried to get around them....period!
As for the board being the Gestapo, the board is trying to clean up all of the $%@& the developer left. He was in business to sell houses not to turn off potential buyers and chose not to be consistent in his enforcement of the rules. Yeah the board is pretty visible right now enforcing all of the restrictions that the developer failed to do. You can call them Gestapo, I call them house cleaners. I'm glad they are doing this. It's only fair to the homewners who are honest and considerate and who have followed the rules. You go ahead and keep heaping it on the board. I hope you like being the underdog, because you are in the very small minority. The vast majority love Windsor Hills for what it is and how it is run, so keep wasting your time with your misdirected posts.
One final thing, if you don't like the way the neighborhood is run or the "snobs" that volunteer to run it, you have three choices, live with it, get involved and run for office or move out.
