A reminder of how important it is to make sure your front door is locked & garage doors shut.
May 14, 2007:
Our neighborhood experienced two home invasions during the last two weeks...one may have been entry through the front door; south Grant Street (closest to 151st) & one on Wedd (the south side of 147th).
Wellington Park also had a burglary around 8:00 p.m. last month of a garage. The family leaves the doors up so that their children can run back & forth from a friend that lives across the street. They had forgotten to close the doors when the boys cam back home & a black SUV pulled up in front of the house & started loading things into the car from the garage!
