LFHNA Animal Alert Program
Coordinator: Maeleska Fletes
An Animal Alert Program has been established in the Little Forest
Hills neighborhood. The mission is to reunite lost pets with their
families.
In most neighborhoods, when a beloved family pet becomes lost, there
is nowhere to turn except to the city pound. Our Animal Alert
Volunteers, right here in the neighborhood, will provide residents the
opportunity to get the word out fast when a pet escapes the confines
of home. The Animal Alert Hotline will be available 24/7, and is a
link between residents in our area who have lost a pet and those who
spot a loose animal.
Please contact Maeleska Fletes, Animal Alert Coordinator, if you want
to volunteer in any capacity.
Contributions are also needed. So far we have purchased a mobile phone with a contract, office supplies and internet space. Send any contributions to Maeleska Fletes at the address listed below.
We have a lot of plans to make this program easy to use and helpful
for our pets. Your cooperation and help is greatly appreciated!
Sincerely,
Maeleska Fletes -- Animal Alert Coordinator
