Spring Cleaning!

Operation Clean Sweep
On Saturday, April 26th, LINA members will participate in the city's annual Operation Clean Sweep. Residents are being asked to clean their yards, alleys and basements and place all unwanted items on the curb by 8 a.m. on the 26th. The city will begin picking up these items early in the morning. What a great opportunity to get rid of unwanted old furniture, appliances and "stuff". During the following week the city will sweep 5th to 11th Streets with machinery. Please obey the "No Parking" signs which will be posted.

Volunteers Needed
Thirty volunteers are needed to participate in the annual community volunteer projects. During the "good weather" months, LINA members try to accomplish one project per month. On Saturday, April 26th, we will meet at 9 a.m. and work til noon. We will be painting Fire Hydrants and yellow curbs, mulching street trees, cleaning up litter and empty lots.
