Round-a-bout traffic rules

Yield Signs

I am the one who called Metro call and asked that the signs be changed back to stop signs. At least when they were stop signs before, people would at least yield. I couldn't count how many times I was about hit because no one would abide by the traffic rules. I got tired of it. The developers said it was the city that changed the signs a while back. I hope it helps!!!!

It is unfortunate that a "round-a-bout" has to have stop signs.  It then ceases to be a "round-a-bout" and becomes just a difficult intersection.  Round-a-bouts can be efficient and safe if everyone understands their purpose.   I know of absolutely NO accidents at our round-a-bout during the time with yield signs and I would challenge anyone to prove that the stop signs have improved any aspect of safety at this point.  Seem like a waste of time and energy that could be spent elsewhere.

I agree with you!  That intersection should have yield signs.  It's unfortunate that so many people couldn't figure out how a round-a-bout works...

You are right...people should know how to navigate a round-about. But many obviously do bot. I would rather err on the side of caution and keep the stop signs.
