I would like to know if anyone else in LSF is interested in no soliciting signs at each of our entrances to the neighborhood. I am tired of the out of town kids who claim to be selling magazines for various groups. They represent one individual who sell these magazines for profit. The kids get a small commission for what they do sell. Also, I am tired of the large trucks who come in the neighborhood trying to sell furniture &/or landscaping trees. I am not opposed to kids that live in our neighborhood selling their school/church related fundraising items. If there is any interest, maybe Trish can approach the developers about this issue. I think it would make for a safer neighborhood because you don't know if these people are checking out homes to see who is and who is not at home.

I totally agree with no soliciting signs at each entrance.  My previous neighborhood did this same thing and it seemed to work.

I am totally for no soliciting.  I don't have a problem with kids doing it for school/church fundraisers.  It makes me uncomfortable when the strangers come up to the house.  When you tell them no they try to tell you "everyone else is buying".  I don't trust them.
