I was coming up Vista Hill Blvd this morning around 6:40. Running up the middle of the street was a small boy going to his bus stop. He cut across the grass at the flag pole, straight over to the opposite corner. Never once did he stop and look for cars. His clothes were dark and I am lucky I saw his blond hair. My daughter, who was in the passenger seat, did not see him at all - I'm just glad I did not let her drive this morning.
I just want to remind everyone to be careful since it is now dark in the mornings and to ask parents to remind their small ones to use the sidewalks & to stop and look both ways before they cross the street.
