Little Spring Farm Neighborhood

Forum deletions

Posted in: Little Spring Farm

I'm new to the neighborhood and I recently found out about this forum and I'm a little disappointed at how quickly certain topics and replies get deleted or censored, while others are left untouched.  Not all that are left are on a positive note either.  I haven't seen anything that makes our neighborhood appear to be anything other then a wonderful place to live, however, we certainly don't live in a utopia and I don't think anyone, current or potential neighbors would expect it to be.  We have many of the same issues Glenmary or any of the other surrounding neighborhoods have and I think it's appropriate to have a place to comment or bring up issues that would otherwise be difficult to do in person.  I understand there may be an email group but I haven't figured out how to join it yet.  That's great for disseminating information, but email addresses don't always have the same anonymity that the forum does.  As long as people are respectful and engage in healthy discussion, there shouldn't be any censorship.  For the record, I have been extremely pleased with Little Spring Farm, love my neighbors and accept the fact that there will always be either clueless or disrespectful people everywhere.

Please see Neighborhood contacts on the Home Page of LSF Website for the contact info for the Email System.   I wll be glad to send you the last email sent on the subject of the deletions.   There was a very valid reason for the removals.

Thank You

Good point here as many of the people I know have asked to NOT be on the e-mail list anyway, but if they are not on it they normally do not look here either so its a catch 22.  I have no better answer for this than the e-mail myself, but good topic.

Clarification of the LSF Email System.

Some residents may have chosen not to be on the email list, but there has been only one resident who ask not to be included on the Email list.   There are 220 residents currently on the list, this constitutes the majority of the residents. Most resident have found the email system a valid mode of comminicating.  It has helped develope a friendly and informed community.  I think we have all strived to meet this goal.
