Little Springs or Glenmary???

Posted in: Little Spring Farm

Having a hard time deciding between Little Springs or Glenmary.  Who better to ask then current residents.  Wondering if any L.S. residents were on the fence between the two subdivisions before purchasing?  We are aware of the different HOA fees $450.00 vs. $750.00.  Glenmary's Clubhouse offers a pub/restaurant which is nice.  L.S.'s Clubhouse is larger & nicer including the super nice swimming pool. Both have tennis courts.  The golf course at G.M. doesn't make it or break it for us.  We like the idea of walking trails and being connected to the mega park.  I appreciate any feedback from the residents in L.S.  And, is the relationship with the Developers on common ground these days.. I only ask after seeing post from the past.

Respectfully,

Allie

The HOA is now $1000, but that includes membership to the pool.  Many new houses have gone up recently so I suspect the HOA fees will GO DOWN in the next few years.  Accross the street, I believe it is more expensive for the pool anyway. Have you driven through there since they added the speed bumps?  I know that they help slow down bad drivers but they are every .10 miles, it is horrible.

Little springs has more small children and Glenmary has more older children if that matters to you.

The relationship with the developers has been resolved to almost everyones satisfaction.  Mr. Brown offered a town hall where everyone could voice there concerns, if they submitted their question prior to the meeting.  That seemed arrogant to me but what are you going to do?  A HOA structure was developed with direct communication channels to the developers by electing representatives from regional districts. There was no evidence to suggest jerrymandering. Now if we have any issues, we seem to get a response in an acceptable time frame.

Either way, look up 21st Century Parks for info on the big park moving in.

Good luck!
