Subject:Stolen Christmas Decorations-Highline Meadows Community

Dear Sirs,

Last week on Friday 12-12-08 I had Christmas Decorations just right outside my door stolen. No one from the Board of Directors or TMMC contacted me that these were removed by them so I had to call the Arapahoe County Sheriff out to 130 East Highline Circle .

The Sheriff took the report and created Case #CT08-46174. This was considered a theft case because the items were right outside my door on the mat and not part of the common area. Anyway these are Christmas Decorations.

I put one other Christmas decoration in front of my door and it was stolen again a week later on Friday December 20th between 7:30am and 13:00.I tried to call TMMC property management company but they will not answer the phone and would not return my urgent message.

This lack of communication by TMMC and The Board of Directors is typical and does not look kindly on them as good steward's of this Highline Meadows Community.

I therefore called the Arapahoe County Sheriff's department again and they sent someone over.I explained the situation with them and showed them a letter that was sent by the Board of Directors about storing items in the hallway. The letter explained that no items shall be stored in the hallways and would be removed immediately by the cleaning company. Further more, the letter said that nothing but a door mat is allowed in the front door.

The Deputy Sheriff called TMMC and Talked with Denise Haas and she admitted over the phone with the deputy that indeed the items were taken by them and that I would need to write them a letter to request the return of the Three Items by Email.

I have read the rules and regulations attached and have been putting out Christmas decorations for 18 years now without anyone taking them until now. I find that the Board of Directors and TMMC Management company have been harassing me for over a year now because I have been a vocal part of the Highline Meadows community and have presented some very important Factual information to them on the wasted spending and substandard repairs of Highline Meadows.

I have asked the Board of Directors to try to cut cost, but they seem to continue to spend whatever they want and claim they do not want to cut services. They are again putting this financial burden of this oversight on the members of this community.

I find it  is a shame that these Board of Directors and TMMC must sink to an all time low and steal Christmas decoration from me and other owners during the Holiday Season. This is a direct reflection of what is happening here at Highline Meadows when people cant even put Holiday Cheer in front of there door.

Not only are we being taken to the cleaners by Special assessments and Increases in Dues which are not being voted on,  but we must all suffer by this act of Retribution against good standing members of the Highline Meadows Association.

I am attaching the Rules and Regulations. Do you see any violations happening here? Remember these are Christmas Decoration which mean they are for the Christmas Season and are not being stored.

This being said I would request that my Christmas Pine Cone Display, Figure and Glass Christmas Vase be returned to me immediately. Failure to return these items in perfect condition will result in this case be escalated to the Arapahoe County Sheriffs office.

What ever happened to communication? Its seems as if we are living in small country here at Highline Meadows and these TMMC people and Board of Directors can do anything they choose and are above the law. TMMC keeps the Board of Directors quiet as they are surrounded by there lawyers and our lawyer follows them like a "good old boy".

This all comes full circle as ,....We have suffered at the hands of TMMC and the Board for over a year now as We have tried to organized True change in this community. We have been taken to the cleaners as our dues have increased and we have special assessments yearly now. The funds are not being used correctly and we need to go into receivership.

This is all happening because We have found Fraud, mismanagement and substandard repairs. I have dissected the Budget and found monies missing, out of control spending and cooking of the books by TMMC and the Board of Directors.

We did the research, found the facts and presented them to the Board of Directors and TMMC. Each time We have been squashed by them and there deception to this community.

The voices of this community have found the facts and presented them very clearly at this website called Highline Meadows Fellows;

http://www.neighborhoodlink.c om/centennial/hmca/main.html

It is time for the lying, cheating and  stealing to stop and the truth be known about our plight here at Highline Meadows. Our problems are very obvious and criminal in behavior when monies are be ing swooped away and this complex is falling apart. The non-communication by TMMC and The Board of Directors onto this community has gone on for to long now and it's time that the wheels of justice kick in and find the blame.
