Board Chairman, Member Terms Expire

Dr. Clayton Hicks, former Chairman of LACCD?’s Board of Directors, and additional outgoing Board members were recognized during the 7th Annual LACCD meeting for their years of diligent and exemplary service. Hicks was recipient of a certificate of recognition and distinction from Columbus City Councilwoman Charletta Tavares as well as a State Proclamation from the Office of Ohio Governor Bob Taft.

Though no longer Board Chair, Dr. Hicks will continue to serve LACCD as its Director of Board Governance.

Other board members with expiring terms were too acknowledged and presented with certificates of appreciation as well, including Dr. Regina Peal of Columbus State Community College, Chair of the LACCD Board Nominating Committee, and Pam McCarthy of Central Community House, who was a Personnel Committee member.
