During the LLHOA BOARD MEETING Oct 3, 2020, the issue of short term rentals and their effect on the quality of life in our neighborhood was discussed..
The residents present offered varying opinions on the length of stay limitation being used to reduced the tendency of LL properties being used as " party houses" resulting in excessive noise, parking violations and increased trash mess in the community.
Ron Villa brought up the issue of our insurance premiums increasing when we don't limit the rental stay to greater than 30 days. Minimum stays of between 4 and 7 days were proposed, the majority agreed to use 4 days minimum for now to gage the effectiveness of a minimum rental stay resolution.
REMINDER: Rental Resolution of 2/15/2018, requires all rentals to be posted to LLHOA by the owner or his agent. This Resolution is still in effect.
