Ideas for This Web Site?

Thanks to Bob Addleman for locating this facility and suggesting the startup of this site!

As we all become more familiar with this facility, ideas will flow. But to get things started, why don't we use this forum to suggest a few ideas?

We should probably plan to post the Association Declarations and By-Laws for a starter. Should we post a copy of the snow removal contract? etc.? This might also be a great place to post documents the board would like to post for community review.

As you may have noted, there is an area where users may post links to their own personal web pages. (If anyone needs help in this area, let me know?)

Discussion forums here could easily follow the topics discussed in our association meetings. Perhaps a ''landscaping issues'' forum? A ''repainting status'' forum? An ''insurance issues forum?

We need to remember, however, that this site is not too secure. I haven't seen any place so far that would prohibit someone from signing themselves up for access to this site even though they are not members of the association.

Personal Web Pages

The ''Personal Web Pages'' mentioned in the last message are not hosted by this neighborhood.com site. If you have an account with an ISP that permits you to post a personal web page, the address of that page can be linked from this site. But your page would continue to reside on the web server of your ISP rather than on the server hosting the Ranch Meadow site. (confusing? . . . give me a call?)
