Your Taft Canyon HOA Board has been asked to consider centralizing trash pick-up and billing in our neighborhood.
The advantages are cost savings to the homeowner and reducing the heavy truck traffic on our roads. Any thoughts? |

One trash company
I suspect that the trash trucks are not as destructive to the streets as might appear. Their loads are bulky, but not dense (heavy) and the weight is spread out over numerous large tires. The resulting footprint may not be that heavy. The street deterioration issue may not offset the disadvantages of restricting competition |
