Green and Black Ribbons
The green and black ribbons placed on the trees along the boundaries of Roseland Heights are a symbol of unity. They represent a neighborhood working and coming together as Community. A community with a singleness of cause, renewed hope and the courage to dream, in harmony, of making things better. These ribbons serve as a reminder that when faced with social ills, we here in Roseland Heights all have something in common: "Our desire for a quality life (free of crime) and our ability to do what we can to help ourselves". With valor and daring we will continue in our sharing and caring for each other; we will move forward working for the dream of a safe summer and safer future.........
P.S. the black ribbons Show our thanks to all policeman who honorably served and died for this community, that we might live safe and crime free.
"our cause goes on, our hope still lives and our dreams shall never die".
