Lone Oak Park HOA

  Please keep an eye out for anyone suspicious in the neighborhood.  We live at 4301 NW 164th Terrace.  Monday night, March 22nd, someone broke into our car that was sitting in the driveway.  We did file a police report to alert authorities of the situation. We are posting this in an effort to gain support in a community watch as well as to keep our neighborhood safe.  Make sure your cars and garages are locked up at night and please do not hesitate to call the police if you see anything out of the ordinary!

Sadly, your car is not the first in the neighborhood.  My car was in my garage, and broken into last summer.  My purse was stolen and my credit cards were used.  Amazingly, the guy was caught a few weeks later with my credit cards on his person.  He was a friend of one of our neighbors, and as soon as I saw him, I recognized him as someone who frequently visited our neighborhood.

That said, keep your purses in the house (hard lesson learned) and be aware of who your kids are hanging out with.
