I am an Indiana University Southeast Nursing Student who has been assigned a transcultural project that involves researching the Quaker Religion and their views on healthcare and how it effects them as a culture. I am also a Unitarian Universalist, so my own personal beliefs are quite open minded and I have a fairly liberal background. Unfortunately, I am ignorant to the Quaker religion and know absolutely nothing of where to start looking for information. Internet searches are lacking in the way of decent information and I can't find good journals, either. I am wondering if there is anyone willing to have a conversation with me to answer a few questions, general and medical, about this topic. I would love to have an interview as a source.
I live in Clarksville, Indiana and am able to travel. I also can do telephone conversations, or instant message via AIM and Yahoo! messengers. Or this message board works great, too! Anyone willing to help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
