Agree! What are the plans?
I too agree with the Beechwood residents who haven't even been given a plan for what is to come--I know each of the council members would want a plan for what they were going to be looking at out of their front doors. And even though I don't live on Beechwood Rd (I live on Westport Terrace) I'm still affected by this as a resident and taxpayer. I'm not happy with the idea of the vote taking place to spend this amount of money without evidence presented to support all the trees being removed and what plan there is for replacement landscaping. Why was this vote hurried through without plans in place? I think that the council members ad mayor need to step up to the plate and re-examine this extreme decision that they made, at least until the neighborhood can be informed of the situation with information presented to them and a proposed design plan in place--with written estimates from all parties involved. It seems to me that this should have been done before a vote was taken.
