Kill The Car Wash!!
This is a terrible idea! Whatever we all need to do to kill this off we should do. The traffic problems will be horrendous/unsafe and the whole tone of the area would be dramatically changed. This must be stopped.

preserve the peace
Installing a 24-hour car wash, with its deafening vacuum and dryer systems, in a residential neighborhood is careless capitalism. Home should be a refuge - a place where we can feel a relative sense of calm and respite from the noise of the world outside. A car wash has no place in the Deer Park neighborhood, or anyone else's for that matter. It is an inappropriate and inconsiderate use of the space, as would be a gaming facility.

NO CAR WASH
I am very concerned about the possibility of a car wash being built at the corner of Baxter and Stevens. Increased traffic and noise/air/light pollution 24 hours a day will tragically interrupt this peaceful neighborhood.
Property values are bound to go down, and more commercial services are likely to go up, compounding the issue.
I urge the neighborhood association to protect it's grounds and stop this now.

Please No Silly Car Wash
It was nice when it was a florist. People in our neighborhood have hoses.
It will be noisy and not natural.
The scars will be immense.
I have fond memories of washing the car with my dad and a soapy plastic bucket and those big fat yellow sponges.
Saturday afternoons.
Car Washes are depressing.
And unnecessary.
Since this location borders on the homes of so many families, it should house something nice, or many men, women, children, and animals will be adversely affected.
We want our neighborhood to stay clean and healthy.
