Using the City Website

Posted in: Graymoor-Devondale
Your city website www.graymoor-devondale.org is becoming very popular. It has counted more than 1,000 hits for each of the past two months.

Sign-in Required
Despite this popularity, some people report that they are having trouble putting information on the website, especially the Community Calendar?” and the ?“Talk About It?” areas.

Usually the problem is a simple one. People have not registered or signed in properly. To use the website to its fullest, you need to register a name and password. You only need to register once. Go to the upper part of the far left column. In registering, you select a name and password. This ensures full confidentiality. These names and passwords will never be given out.

Each time you access the website, sign in and use the same name and password.

Message Doesn?’t Post
People seem to have another common problem. They will post a message, and nothing happens. Very frustrating, indeed.

When you post ?“Community Calendar?” or ?“Talk About It?” items, be sure to scroll down the page you are working on. Locate the SAVE button and click on it. If you don?’t click on the SAVE button, all your work will be for nothing.

For other questions about using the website, please call Council Member John Vezeau at 426-2681.
