I searched all over your website but can't find which council members do what. That used to be in the newsletter, which was helpful.

I don't know these new people or what they're doing. Specifically, I was wondering who to talke to about some trash pick-up problems. But it might be nice to list the duties somewhere on your site so anyone could easily find who to contact about other issues. Thank you.

Here is a list of council members and the areas that they oversee:

John Allen - Ice/snow; Signage
Allyne Anderson - City Beautification
Thelma Poe - Insurance; Finance
Mark Sites - Garbage and Recycling
John Vezeau - Public Works; Website
Yvette Winnette - Communications (newsletter)

Of course, you can always call the city offices at 429-0834. If Nancy Perito, the City Clerk, is available, she can tell you who to contact. Otherwise you can leave a message on the answering machine, and Nancy will get back to you.

Right now, the City Council is considering another way of dealing with all the work that has to be done to operate the city. Perhaps by working in teams of two and three, the council members can provide more unified and consistent service. We are looking at all angles.

If you have some ideas, please share them.
