Keep in the mind the purpose of this message board and the emails is to allow everyone's voice be heard.  Not just those who agree with you.  If those who have set themselves up (since we haven't) to represent the whole community can't handle allowing everyone to be heard without taking it personnaly or feeling the need to edit what is heard, perhaps they are not the right kind of representation we need.  What does that have to do with manners?

Sir, I have no beef with you or any of my neighbors.  This web site was started back in January.  I was just as guilty as anyone else of posting negative comments abourt the developers and LSF problems.  I did not delete anything or anyones comments.  Neighbors and the people who are trying to sell homes in our neighbors were concerned that the web site was giving our neighborhood a bad name.  We,  and I mean the neighbors who responded, and the developers representives, but not the whole neighbor, decided that it made sense.   Hense we started the group email so people could voice their concerns within just the community of LSF.  The web site is opened to everyone in the nation.    I am sorry you feel that I am trying to stop you from voicing your opion.  I am not.  Just asking your to use a different mode of communication.  I did not delete your comments of this week and will not.   Say what you want.  I really don't care, that is your right, but think what it makes our neighborhood sound like to the rest of the world.

Have a nice daySmile

Thanks

Alan

Why are you concerned with selling houses?  Is this not the responsibility of the developer?  Do we receive a sales commission?  No.  Are we paying the bills for him to advertise?  Yes.  Should we be?  No.  The developer has less control if the word gets out into the community.  That means he will either stop selling lots and houses or he will fix the problems to get us to say nice things.  It is that simple.  Ignore the neighborhood...people complain...buyers won't buy...developer not happy because it will cost him money (no longer able to use our money).  He will fix the problems.  So long as he can keep the negtive comments in a small group he is happy to not fix the problems (keep spending our money).

Let the developer worry about sales.  It is not your or our issue.  In fact if he keeps selling small houses our home values will drop like a stone.  It may be better for him to stop selling the wrong size houses.  This means he has to carry more costs for a longer period of time.  If he sells more of the wrong houses how does it help me?  My house value goes down quicker.  Dues certainly don't go down as more people buy.  So what is my motiviation?  If he goes bankrupt the neighborhood can take control of the community all the sooner.  He certainly isn't responsive to our issues...a neighborhood committee that represents everyone (those with sprinkler systems and those without) might.

The role of a neighborhood committee is to hear and respond to everyone regardless of whether you enjoy their viewpoint or not.  This takes someone with a thick skin and who can set aside their own personal views to represent the whole community.

Sir, there is not any neighborhood committee.  This is volunteer.  Again, the neighbors decided to use the email system as a group.  Not I.  I will leave you alone.  Do what you want.  Again, Thanks for your input - if and when a committee is formed, I hope you will join and help solve our issue.   Again have a nice day.Smile
