Contacted by the chief of Police for Lincolnshire yesterday notifying
me of several home break ins in surrounding neighborhoods.


The person breaking in is usually walking through the neighborhood and
knocks on the door to see if anyone is home. With no answer he will go
around the back of the house and has been known to gain entry by throwing a brick through a window or door. I one such break in a young child was home
waiting for a tutor and was able to leave through the front door as the
perpetrator was coming in the back of the house. Metro Police took 25
minutes to respond.
