Delmar Park, Aurora, located at 6th & Peoria—large outdoor swimming pool and park. In summer free concerts in park on Thursday evenings June through August 6:30-8:00pm.
Denver Art Museum – free every Saturday. Adventure activity backpacks for kids.
Fourth of July – City of Glendale does fireworks, usually weekend before the fourth. Can see from Mervyns on Alameda Avenue.

Greek Festival – on Alameda Avenue (just east of Leetsdale Intersection). Annual festival last part of month of June.
KidsSpree—festival for children and their families, located in Aurora at Bicentennial Park at Alameda & Potomac. Usually held on the weekend closest to July 21-25 dates. FREE, park at Aurora Mall and then be transported to park FREE. About 50 large tents and pavilions set up for children and teens.
Latino Movie Theater – located by King Soopers at 6th & Peoria in Aurora.

Lowry Community Park - Aurora Parks and Recreation, in NE Corner of Lowry. 11th & Dayton. Large Picnic areas. And covered picnic areas for parties. Contact Aurora Parks & Rec to reserve space for family gatherings.
Lowry Glory Days – held in September during the 2nd weekend of the month in the Lowry Town Center area. Free, booths, music, family fun activities neighborhood events.

Montclair Recreation Center-Denver Parks and Recreation, on Lowry 303-364-8607. Woodworking shop, classes, also includes Lowry Gym which is located at 6th & Syracuse. Team Sports. Indoor swimming pool and new gym just completed 2003!!
Roslyn Park – located on Roslyn Street & 7th. Quiet sitting areas. Nice place to read a book or have a picnic in the grass. Will be built summer of 2004.

Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum, at Lowry 7711 E Academy Parkway 303--360-5360 Aircraft museum. In March they have a free admission day and people can explore some of the aircraft.
