Many of you have expressed concern that our neighborhood is changing. I, for one, am truly glad that there are so many caring Lyn Knoll Residents who are concerned. However, as we change mayors and council members, we therefore understand that change is to be expected. With this being the case, the real topic for us to addressed is, what are we allowing our neighborhood to change into? As we see our nearby once dormant terrain change to new developments like the Aurora City Place, we can see, change is not a bad word. With this said, as Lyn Knoll Residents if we do not take the responsibility, and develop an active role in the shaping of our neighborhood, and those surrounding agendas that will affect our neighborhood then we have only ourselves to blame. This is the reason we are asking Lyn Knoll Residents to come and join us at the scheduled neighborhood meetings to create one voice and one pair of hands that will help with the continuing process of shaping the Lyn Knoll Neighborhood.
Each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Del Mar Senior Center located at Del Mar Park, Lyn Knoll Residents meet to learn about the community and understand how change is affecting us. We encourage you to come and share your positive thoughts and vibrant ideas with the other Lyn Knoll Neighborhood Residents and also learn how Aurora is changing and what is on the horizon in our established community. Click on the Calendar Events link to see the upcoming meeting dates and topics. We are looking forward to seeing you!
