MENA takes part in bringing Pops to the Park

Sacramento's annual Pops in the Park is good family fun. Pick a date, pack some food, bring a blanket or chairs, and enjoy being in the park on a Saturday evening with family and friends listening to music you will surely enjoy. All Pops in the Park concerts begin at 6 p.m. and food and drinks will be sold each Saturday.
MENA is a co-sponsor of the McKinley Park Pops in the Park concert June 3 and members will be volunteering for different jobs to help make it a success. Call or email MENA at MENA@eastsac.org, 452-4592 if you are interested in volunteering.
There will be four concerts, the first at McKinley Park on June 3 featuring Fukengruven and the East Sac Chamber Auction. Glen Hall Park will host Pops on June 10 and will feature Garrett Wilkin & The Parrotheads. The June 17 concert will have the Bill Rase Orchestra and Sydney Pope & Onion Awards and will be located at Bertha Henschel Park and the June 24 concert will be at East Portal Park, featuring Conquista Musical.
