We have no water this morning. Calls to CEW&SA give an option to leave a message, but it seems the resources to do so are overwhelmed. Presumably this is an outage others are calling about it too.

yep, saw them working
Yeah, luckily, we got all our showers for church done before hand. I think Brighthouse did it. Unless they know how to fix water issues, thier van was there with the water company truck. Off topic, someone needs to tell the new Montgomery-ites who move here that Wetumpka doesn't pick up sticks and brush from the side of the road. Someone on my street has had a pile out by the road for weeks... |

Water Line Busted
My husband left for work this morning at 6:30 a.m. and called to tell me the water line had busted at the entrance to Hickory Hills. This was the same place they had been working in the past few weeks. Water was gushing out and running across the road. He said it looked like it had been running a couple of hours. I called the CEWSA's answering service and they immediately got the on-call crew on the phone. They were out there working shortly afterwards. When I drove by, it looked like they had replaced a big section of the main line serving that side of the road. Brighthouse came out because during the course of repairing the water line, CEWSA hit the cable line. I am not sure how long the cable was out because I left my house shortly after it went out, but they were up there working on it very quickly after it went out. By Terri |
