On January 21 at noon, lunch is on the Magnolia Industrial Group, as they gather to pay tribute to those whose efforts have made the past few years successful ones for the MIG. City officials and founding members such as Dick Young will be honored with special plaques and outspoken tributes for all the time, effort, imagination and good will they?’ve poured into the Magnolia Industrial Group over the years.
Among the invitees are Councilmember Bonnie Lowenthal, who represents MIG in the city?’s First District, and other government officials and employees from the city?’s various departments.
Long Beach?’s favorite pizzeria and Italian restaurant, Buono?’s, will provide a delicious luncheon and the good folks at Goodwill are providing the facility. Call 437-4000 to reserve a place at the table and come to the Goodwill Industries building at 800 W. Pacific Coast Highway at noon on January 21 to take part in this wonderful celebration.
