Security Update

Steve Puckett of WSI Security gave his report from a wheelchair at the December 17 MIG meeting (Steve was in an auto accident a few months ago, but appears well along on the road to recovery).
Truckers, Puckett said, are continually advised about the "No Parking" ordinance in effect. The alleys, however, are back to their old routine, he added.?  Dumped items such as old tires, mattresses and a huge pile of broken concrete are still plaguing businesses on a weekly basis. Despite camera surveillance under the Deforest Street bridge and a security patrol, dumping appears to be an ongoing problem. Call the Alley Debris hotline at 570-2876 to report problems.
