AMEN! I paid my $300 dues the other day and didn't want to let go of the check! I don't use the pool, I don't play tennis,  I don't play golf and I have been to the club house once and left with a bar tab for about the same amount! 3 houses around me have been foreclosed upon and I cut their grass and keep the trash out of their yards... Ive paid my dues trying to keep my house looking nice........why do I owe you $300? The roads take a toll on your vehicle, the vacant houses and half the ones lived in look like crap! the beaches are trashed and not to mention have to pay $25 in addition to the $300 dues just to use the beaches.....yet people that don't even live in Turtle Cove sneak in and out of the beaches all the time! It's ludicrous!

when will these elderly people learn. when we quit paying them all together. we should boycot payment to t.c.

I couldn't agree more!!!  I moved here 8 years ago and feel the people around me could care less about what their places look like.  Trash everywhere, junk in their yards, and dogs roaming everywhere.. I get so aggravated!  Dont we have covenants?? My daddy always told me ..Its not what you have, its how you keep it!

And yes, the roads take a severe toll on our vehicles. I literally creep to the blacktop so my car stays clean and I dont fling a rock.  And more importantly, I try to be respectful to other homeowners who are suffering from all the dust!  Some people dont give a crap about dusting others out!  How can the speed limit be 25 mph on a gravel road??  Are you serious Jasper County?
