Why can a single family home, which backs up to a town home, fence in their entire backyard, but yet a town home is restricted to a tiny fenced in area? These small fenced in areas are nearly useless and make it difficult to mow that part of the lawn. They also trap pets in a small area causing further lawn damage.

Hi This is part of the deed restrictions that were put in place by the builder. They wanted to maintain a more open space with the townhouses. This can only be changed by 2/3 vote of the entire community. I also wish it were not the case, because I also have two dogs.
