It is my understanding that going door to door soliciting for business is forbidden in the Mansion Farm community. Can someone confirm that for me? Within the past two weeks I have had two individuals ring my doorbell - one selling replacement windows (supposedly already doing work in the neighborhood) and one selling a lawn care service. When these two individuals were told that Mansion Farm does not permit soliciting, both said they had permits that allow them to solicit.
If Mansion Farm does not permit soliciting, to whom should these individuals/companies be reported? Does the permit these individuals had override a community's no soliciting rule?
