Just read that in the Oct community meeting (did even know one was scheduled) that the Board decieded to increase dues to $200 per year.  When did the Board get impowed to raise dues with out a vote or concent of 2/3 of the home owners?

Why not raise the dues by $10.00 a yr for 3 yrs. Why in the world would they board take a jump of $50.00 when there are more then a few here not paying their dues. A little can go far by increasing a small amount at a time.

I believe the board decided they would put a dues increase to a vote...they can't increase dues without a vote.  

The MFMC Board of Directors is not empowered to raise the annual dues without the approval of 2/3 of those homeowners in good standing in attendance at the annual meeting or by proxy vote. The increase is scheduled for a vote as above at the January, 2017 meeting.
