Jean will there ever be a clean up day in the spring? I wonder why people litter where they live. This is by no means the dirtiest place I have ever lived. Guess people just don't care. why they can't take their beer cans & water bottles home I just don't know.

I share yours frustration! The issue seems to be getting worse. I??™m not sure as to the schedule of a spring Clean-up Day. One of the problems is that the only folks showing up to do the work are you and the MFMC Board members. At this tme we have only 4 Board members one of whom is on medical leave. One new member is on the Ballot. I will post a message and have the date of the day on the calendar as soon as available. Thank you for your daily help in trying to control this issue! Thank you to the person who was cleaning up today...I wish I could have helped, but I was on my way to a meeting.  If you post something on here a couple days before I can try to come out and help you.

Thank you for the offer but I'm there mostly in the morning. I can pick it up & within 45 minutes it is back. It is a challenge but it needs to be done. around the ponds need to be done too since the litter gets caught in the grass. Mansion drive & People's blvd is a big dumping ground for litter. It's hard to believe that people litter where they live but they do. I also see people picking up after their dogs only to leave the bag there. Why bother to pick it up?
